     Admiral Sir Vaughan Morgan was born on 20 March 1891.2 He was the son of Joseph John Morgan.2 He married, firstly, Mary Julia Lowe, daughter of Dillon Ross Lewin Lowe, in 1916.2 He married, secondly, Eirene Marjorie Hay-Dinwoody, daughter of Reverend Leofric Matthews Hay-Dinwoody and Margaret Hay, in 1962.2 He died on 9 October 1969 at age 78.2
     He was educated at Royal Naval College, Osborne, Isle of Wight, England.2 He was educated at Royal Naval College, Dartmouth, Devon, England.2 He fought in the First World War.2 He was decorated with the award of the Companion, Distinguished Service Order (D.S.O.) in 1917.2 He was invested as a Member, Royal Victorian Order (M.V.O.) in 1918.1 He was Commanding Officer of the 5th Destroyer Flotilla between 1937 and 1939.2 He fought in the Second World War.2 He was Capyain of the H.M.S. Revenge in 1941.2 He was invested as a Companion, Order of the Bath (C.B.) in 1945.1 He was Admiral Superintendant of the HM Dockyard, Portsmouth between 1945 and 1949.2 He retired from the military in 1949, with the rank of Admiral.2 He was invested as a Knight Commander, Order of the British Empire (K.B.E.) in 1949.1 He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of Hampshire in 1955.2 He lived at Soberton, Hampshire, England.1 He had one son and one other daughter.2

     Prudence Morgan is the daughter of Admiral Sir Vaughan Morgan and Mary Julia Lowe.2,3 She married Admiral Sir Michael Le Fanu, son of Captain Hugh Barrington Le Fanu and Georgiana Harriott Kingscote, on 18 December 1943.1
      From 18 December 1943, her married name became Le Fanu. In 1976 at 17 Stonehill Road, East Sheen, London, England, (an unknown value).1
