     Helena Mary Alford was the daughter of Reverend Richard Sargent Alford.1 She married, firstly, Cyril Forde Minchin, son of Edward Stapleton Beechey Minchin and Edith Frederica White, on 19 November 1907.1 She married, secondly, David Charles McWilliam in 1950.1 She died on 8 July 1960.1
     From 19 November 1907, her married name became Minchin. From 1950, her married name became McWilliam.1
