Major Francis Bonham was born on 5 November 1831.1 He was the son of Reverend John Bonham and Barbarina Norris.2 He married Emily May Georgiana Reid, daughter of James Reid, on 16 July 1868.1 He died on 20 November 1892 at age 61, without issue.1
