     Sir Cecil Francis Joseph Dormer was born on 14 February 1883. He was the son of Hon. Hubert Francis Dormer and Mary Jane Elizabeth Digby.1 He married Lady Mary Alice Clara Feilding, daughter of Sir Rudolph Robert Basil Aloysius Augustine Feilding, 9th Earl of Denbigh and Hon. Cecilia Mary Clifford, on 25 February 1915.1
     Sir Cecil Francis Joseph Dormer was invested as a Member, Royal Victorian Order (M.V.O.).1 He was invested as a Knight Commander, Order of St. Michael and St. George (K.C.M.G.).1
