     James Plaisted Wilde, 1st and last Baron Penzance was born on 12 July 1816 at London, England.2 He was the son of Edward Archer Wilde and Marianne Norris.1 He married Lady Mary Pleydell-Bouverie, daughter of William Bouverie, 3rd Earl of Radnor and Judith Anne St. John-Mildmay, on 20 February 1860 at Coleshill, Berkshire, England.2 He died on 9 December 1899 at age 83 at Eashing Park, Godalming, Surrey, England, without issue.2
     James Plaisted Wilde, 1st and last Baron Penzance was educated at Winchester College, Winchester, Hampshire, England.3 He was admitted to Inner Temple in 1839 entitled to practice as a Barrister-at-Law.3 He was Counsel to the Commissioner of Customs in 1840.3 He graduated from Trinity College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England, in 1842 with a Master of Arts (M.A.).3 He was invested as a Queen's Counsel (Q.C.) in 1855.3 He held the office of Bencher of the Inner Temple in 1856.3 He was Counsel to the Duchy of Lancaster in 1859.3 He held the office of Baron of the Exchequer in 1860.3 He was invested as a Knight Bachelor in 1860.3 He held the office of Judge of the High Court, Probate and Divorce Division between 1863 and 1872.3 He was created 1st Baron Penzance, of Penzance, co. Cornwall [U.K.] on 6 April 1869.2 He was official principal of the Chancery Court of York in 1875.3

     Elizabeth Anne Balfour was the daughter of General Robert Balfour, 6th of Balbirnie. She married Rt. Hon. Edward Pleydell-Bouverie, son of William Bouverie, 3rd Earl of Radnor and Judith Anne St. John-Mildmay, on 1 November 1842. She died on 10 August 1889.
     Her married name became Pleydell-Bouverie.

     Henry Trench was born on 8 October 1807.1 He was the son of William Trench and Sarah Elizabeth Frances Henrietta Ricarda Moore.1 He married Hon. Georgina Mary Amelia Bloomfield, daughter of Lt.-Gen. Benjamin Bloomfield, 1st Baron Bloomfield of Oakhampton and Redwood and Harriott Douglas, on 22 October 1836.1 He died on 7 March 1881 at age 73.1
     Henry Trench lived at Cangort Park, County Offaly, Ireland.1

     From 22 October 1836, her married name became Trench.1
