     Thomas Alexander Dashwood was born on 22 February 1826.1 He was the son of Thomas John Dashwood and Susan Wodehouse.2 He married Charlotte Eliza Knyvett, daughter of Reverend Charles Knyvett, on 3 October 1866.1 He died on 9 January 1909 at age 82.1
     He graduated from Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, EnglandG, with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)1 He was a practising barrister.1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Hertfordshire.1

     Charlotte Eliza Knyvett was the daughter of Reverend Charles Knyvett.2 She married Thomas Alexander Dashwood, son of Thomas John Dashwood and Susan Wodehouse, on 3 October 1866.1 She died on 23 April 1931.1
     From 3 October 1866, her married name became Dashwood.

     Major Thomas Henry Knyvett Dashwood was born on 3 January 1876.1 He was the son of Thomas Alexander Dashwood and Charlotte Eliza Knyvett.2 He married Florence Kathleen Smith, daughter of Thomas Frederick Hugh Smith, on 5 April 1910.1 He died on 24 January 1929 at age 53.1
     He gained the rank of Major in the Royal Army Service Corps.1

     Florence Kathleen Smith was the daughter of Thomas Frederick Hugh Smith.1 She married, firstly, Major Thomas Henry Knyvett Dashwood, son of Thomas Alexander Dashwood and Charlotte Eliza Knyvett, on 5 April 1910.1 She married, secondly, Captain John Maurice Figgis on 28 October 1937.1 She died on 2 July 1939.1
     From 5 April 1910, her married name became Dashwood. From 28 October 1937, her married name became Figgis.1

     Thomas John Russell Dashwood was born on 19 January 1911.1 He was the son of Major Thomas Henry Knyvett Dashwood and Florence Kathleen Smith.2 He married Edith Mary Thomas, daughter of William Thomas, on 18 April 1936.1 He died on 1 July 1979 at age 68, without issue.1
     He was educated at Wellington College, Crowthorne, Berkshire, EnglandG.1 He graduated from Brasenose College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, EnglandG, in 1932 with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)1 He was wit the Colonial Administration Service, served in Tanganyika, South African HC Territories and Nigeria between 1933 and 1955.1 He was appointed Officer, Order of the British Empire (O.B.E.) in 1952.1 He graduated from Brasenose College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, EnglandG, in 1954 with a Master of Arts (M.A.)1
