     Frederick Lewis Maitland of Lindores was born on 18 July 1874.2 He was the son of Rear-Admiral Lewis Maitland and Mary Allan.2 He married Constance Zeila Dewar-Durie, daughter of William Andrew Dewar-Durie and Elizabeth Dewar-Durie of Craigluscar, on 6 August 1896.2 He died on 9 February 1915 at age 40.2

     William Andrew Dewar-Durie was born on 26 August 1830.1 He was the son of Andrew Dewar and Isabella Husband.2 He married Elizabeth Dewar-Durie of Craigluscar, daughter of Charles Durie of Craigluscar and Christine Ronaldson, on 15 June 1859.1 He died on 13 October 1895 at age 65.1
     He was given the name of William Andrew Dewar at birth.2 William Andrew Dewar-Durie usually went by his middle name of Andrew.2 He graduated from Edinburgh University, Edinburgh, Midlothian, ScotlandG, in 1852 with a Doctor of Medicine (M.D.)1 In 1868 his name was legally changed to William Andrew Dewar-Durie.2 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.)2 He lived at Craigluscar, Dunfermline, Fife, ScotlandG.2 He was belonged to the (an unknown value) caste at Dunfermline Abbey, Dunfermline, Fife, ScotlandG.2

     Constance Zeila Dewar-Durie was born on 12 March 1876.1 She was the daughter of William Andrew Dewar-Durie and Elizabeth Dewar-Durie of Craigluscar.2 She married Frederick Lewis Maitland of Lindores, son of Rear-Admiral Lewis Maitland and Mary Allan, on 6 August 1896.2 She died on 23 April 1960 at age 84.2
     From 6 August 1896, her married name became Maitland.
