     Ferdinando Richard Hastings was born on 22 October 1699 at Ashby De La Zouch, Leicestershire, England.1 He was the son of Theophilus Hastings, 7th Earl of Huntingdon and Mary Frances Fowler.1 He died on 9 August 1726 at age 26, unmarried.1
