     Captain Calistus McCarthy was the son of Donal Buidhe McCarthy and Catherine O'Donoghue.2 He died in 1768 at Dromcarbane, County Kerry, Ireland.1
     Captain Calistus McCarthy lived at Rossacrue, Ireland.1 He gained the rank of Ensign in 1690.1 He was Captain Commandant of the Campagnie O'Donoghue, Regiment of Dorrington between 1712 and 1741 at France.1

     Donal O'Donoghue, The O'Donoghue of the Glens is the son of Geoffrey O'Donoghue, The O'Donoghue of the Glens and Alice Coppinger.2 He married Mary McCarthy, daughter of Dermot McCarthy.1
     Donal O'Donoghue, The O'Donoghue of the Glens held the position of O'Donoghue of the Glens in 1677.1 In 1700 he was a claimant to a portion of the Kerry estate.1
