     Maria Townsend was the daughter of Reverend Horatio Townsend and Katherine Corker.2 She married Philip Somerville, son of Thomas Somerville and Mary Townsend.1 She died, without issue.1
     Her married name became Somerville.

     Philip Somerville is the son of Thomas Somerville and Mary Townsend.2,3 He married, firstly, Maria Townsend, daughter of Reverend Horatio Townsend and Katherine Corker.1 He married, secondly, Henrietta Anna Margaretta Townsend, daughter of Richard Townsend and Barbara Mellifont, in August 1816.4
     Philip Somerville lived at The Prairy, Schull, County Cork, Ireland.4
