     Charles Frederick Stewart was born on 12 July 1870.1 He was the son of Charles Frederick Stewart and Elizabeth Frances Lindesay.1 He married, firstly, Alice Mary Lydia Humfrey, daughter of John Keys Humfrey, on 20 September 1899.1 He married, secondly, Hildegarde Ellen Elizabeth Lindesay, daughter of Frederick Lindesay, on 5 October 1910.1
     He gained the rank of Captain in the 5th Battalion, Royal Inniskilling Fusiliers.1 He lived in 1912 at Runcleven, Dunfanaghy, County Donegal, IrelandG.1
