Gerald Brenan was born in 1765.1 He was the son of Nicholas Brenan and Elizabeth Culleran.2 He married Katharine Maher, daughter of John Maher and Elizabeth Cormac.1 He died in 1836.1 He was buried at Nicholastown Churchyard, County Kilkenny, Ireland.1
