     Lt.-Col. Hervey Guy Francis Edward de Montmorency was born on 5 November 1868.1 He was the son of Charles Anne Law de Montmorency and Elise Christine Motz.2 He married Evelyn Buchanan, daughter of Reverend Alexander Buchanan, on 12 November 1907.1 He died on 2 September 1942 at age 73, without issue.1
     Lt.-Col. Hervey Guy Francis Edward de Montmorency gained the rank of Lieutenant in the service of the Royal Artillery.1 He fought in the Boer War.1 He fought in the First World War in 1914, where he was mentioned in despatches.1 He gained the rank of Major in the service of the Royal Field Artillery.1 He was Companion, Distinguished Service Order (D.S.O.) in 1917.1 He was decorated with the award of Legion of Honour.1 He was decorated with the award of Croix de Guerre (with palm and two stars).1

     From 12 November 1907, her married name became de Montmorency.

     Major Reymond Hervey de Montmorency was born on 19 September 1835.1 He was the son of Major Reymond Henry de Montmorency and Anna Matilda Revell.2 He married, firstly, Eliza Sandys, daughter of Teignmouth Sandys, on 24 May 1863.1 He married, secondly, Marion Ellen Coles, daughter of George Coles, on 27 August 1870.1 He died on 15 July 1880 at age 44.1
     Major Reymond Hervey de Montmorency gained the rank of Major in the service of the Bengal Staff Corps.1
