     Lt.-Col. Hervey Guy Francis Edward de Montmorency was born on 5 November 1868.¹ He was the son of Charles Anne Law de Montmorency and Elise Christine Motz.² He married Evelyn Buchanan, daughter of Reverend Alexander Buchanan, on 12 November 1907.¹ He died on 2 September 1942 at age 73, without issue.¹
     He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the Royal Artillery.¹ He fought in the Boer War.¹ He gained the rank of Major in the Royal Field Artillery.¹ He fought in the First World War in 1914, where he was mentioned in despatches.¹ He was Distinguished Service Order (D.S.O.) in 1917.¹ He was awarded the Croix de Guerre with palm and two stars.¹ He was awarded the Chevalier, Ordre national de la Légion d'honneur.¹

     Reverend Alexander Buchanan graduated with a Master of Arts (M.A.)¹ He lived at The Old Rectory, Finchampstead, Berkshire, England^G.¹

     Evelyn Buchanan was born circa 1877.¹ She was the daughter of Reverend Alexander Buchanan.² She married Lt.-Col. Hervey Guy Francis Edward de Montmorency, son of Charles Anne Law de Montmorency and Elise Christine Motz, on 12 November 1907.¹ She died on 11 May 1973.¹
     From 12 November 1907, her married name became de Montmorency.

     Geraldine Dora de Montmorency was the daughter of Charles Anne Law de Montmorency and Elise Christine Motz.² She died on 23 February 1926, unmarried.¹

     Major Reymond Henry de Montmorency was born on 26 August 1808.¹ He was the son of Reymond Hervey de Montmorency and Letitia Proby.² He married Anna Matilda Revell, daughter of Henry Revell, on 8 October 1830.¹ He died on 10 May 1847 at age 38.¹
     He gained the rank of Major in the 65th Bengal Native Infantry.¹

     Anna Matilda Revell was the daughter of Henry Revell.² She married Major Reymond Henry de Montmorency, son of Reymond Hervey de Montmorency and Letitia Proby, on 8 October 1830.¹ She died on 14 January 1895.¹
     From 8 October 1830, her married name became de Montmorency.

     Major Reymond Hervey de Montmorency was born on 19 September 1835.¹ He was the son of Major Reymond Henry de Montmorency and Anna Matilda Revell.² He married, firstly, Eliza Cauty Sandys, daughter of Teignmouth Sandys and Anne Elizabeth Cauty, on 24 May 1863 at Bhaugalpore, Bengal, India.^1,3 He married, secondly, Marion Ellen Coles, daughter of George Coles, on 27 August 1870.¹ He died on 15 July 1880 at age 44.¹
     He gained the rank of Major in the Bengal Staff Corps.¹

     Maynard Brodhurst was born on 26 February 1829 at Newark-on-Trent, Nottinghamshire, England.¹ He married Mary Dent Sandys, daughter of Teignmouth Sandys and Caroline Bayly, circa 1856 at India.¹ He died in 1890 at Christchurch, Dorset, England.¹

     Eliza Cauty Sandys was born on 29 November 1844 at Bengal, India.² She was the daughter of Teignmouth Sandys and Anne Elizabeth Cauty.^3,2 She married Major Reymond Hervey de Montmorency, son of Major Reymond Henry de Montmorency and Anna Matilda Revell, on 24 May 1863 at Bhaugalpore, Bengal, India.^1,2 She died on 23 December 1868 at age 24, without issue.¹ She was also reported to have died on 25 April 1866 at Edinburgh, Midlothian, Scotland.²
     From 24 May 1863, her married name became de Montmorency.¹
