     Reverend William Beresford was the Rector at Sonning, Berkshire, England.¹

     Angelina Haffenden was the daughter of James Haffenden.¹ She married Reverend Alleyne FitzHerbert, son of Sir Henry FitzHerbert, 3rd Bt. and Agnes Beresford, on 5 May 1841.² She died on 10 August 1896.²
      Her married name became Fitzherbert.

     James Haffenden lived at Langford Hall, Nottinghamshire, England.

     Reginald William Petre was born on 23 April 1851. He was the son of Hon. Frederick Charles Edmund Petre and Georgiana Musgrave. He married Caroline Preston, daughter of J. Alexander Preston, on 30 April 1889.

     Hardolph Venables Harcourt-Vernon was born on 6 March 1881. He was the son of Edward Evelyn Harcourt-Vernon and Grace Fitzherbert. He died on 13 March 1881.

     Granville Charles FitzHerbert Harcourt-Vernon was born on 30 May 1891.¹ He was the son of Edward Evelyn Harcourt-Vernon and Frances Theresa FitzHerbert. He married Celine van Hecke, daughter of M. van Hecke, on 17 October 1925.¹ He died on 21 February 1974 at age 82, without issue.¹
     He was Justice of the Peace (J.P.) ( and Brecon 1939) Notts 1932.¹ He was educated Eton.¹ He was Lieutenant-Colonel Grenadier Guards WW I (wounded three times, despatches), WW II.¹ He was Companion, Distinguished Service Order (D.S.O.) in 1916.¹ He was Military Cross (M.C.) in 1919.¹ He was Officer, Order of the British Empire (O.B.E.) in 1945.¹

     Celine van Hecke was the daughter of M. van Hecke. She married Granville Charles FitzHerbert Harcourt-Vernon, son of Edward Evelyn Harcourt-Vernon and Frances Theresa FitzHerbert, on 17 October 1925.¹ She died on 12 April 1949.¹
      Her married name became Harcourt-Vernon.

     M. van Hecke lived at Brussels, Belgium.

     Captain Egerton Gervase Edward Harcourt-Vernon was born on 13 July 1899.¹ He is the son of Edward Evelyn Harcourt-Vernon and Frances Theresa FitzHerbert. He married Norma Hatherley, daughter of George William Hatherley, on 29 June 1932.¹ He died on 14 February 1976 at age 76.¹
     He was educated Eton.¹ Captain Egerton Gervase Edward Harcourt-Vernon usually went by his middle name of Gervase.¹ He was Captain Grenadier Guards (SR), WWs I and II.¹ He was Military Cross (M.C.) in 1919.¹ He lived in 2003 at Little Tudor, Cranbrook, Kent, ZZZ.¹

     Norma Hatherley is the daughter of George William Hatherley. She married Captain Egerton Gervase Edward Harcourt-Vernon, son of Edward Evelyn Harcourt-Vernon and Frances Theresa FitzHerbert, on 29 June 1932.¹
      Her married name became Harcourt-Vernon.
