     Bartholomew McCorkell was born in July 1805.2 He was the son of William McCorkell and Jane Corscaden.3,2 He married Frances Browne, daughter of David Browne and Ann Kincaid, on 17 August 1843.1 He died on 6 January 1887 at age 81.1
     He was educated at Foyle College, Derry, County Derry, IrelandG.2 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for County Donegal.2 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for the City of Londonderry.2 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for County Londonderry.1 He held the office of Mayor of Londonderry.2 He held the office of High Sherrif of County Londonderry in 1878.2 He lived at Aberfoyle, County Derry, IrelandG, (previously Richmond).1

     Catherine Warwicka Sanderson was the daughter of John Sanderson.2 She married David Browne, son of David Browne and Ann Kincaid, on 29 September 1841 at St. Luke's Church, AntiguaG.1 She died on 27 October 1888.1
     From 29 September 1841, her married name became Browne.
