Reverend George Burdett married Mary Wright. He died in 1671.1
He graduated with a Master of Arts (M.A.).1 He held the office of Alderman of London.2 He was also known as Robert Burdett.2 In 1630 he was granted twenty town lands in County Carlow.2 He was a lecturer between 1632 and 1635 at Norwich, Norfolk, England.1 He emigrated to New England, U.S.A., arriving on 1635.1 He was a Minister at Massachusetts, U.S.A..1 He was a Minister at Dover, New Hampshire, U.S.A..1 Circa 1639 he was constantly in trouble, convicted of criminal conduct and banished.1 He was said to have returned to England and joined the Royalist Army.1 He was Chancellor of Leighlin in 1666.1 He was Dean of Leighlin in 1668.1
