     Grace Sophia Burdett was born on 21 December 1885.¹ She was the daughter of Arthur Hugo Florian de Burdet Burdett and Henrietta Maude St. George.^2,1 She married, firstly, Maj.-Gen. Sir Gerald Farrell Boyd, son of Robert Boyd, on 9 January 1913.¹ She married, secondly, Colonel Frederick Evan Wood on 22 June 1934.¹ She died on 20 November 1954 at age 68.¹
     From 9 January 1913, her married name became Boyd. From 22 June 1934, her married name became Wood.¹

     Maj.-Gen. Sir Gerald Farrell Boyd was the son of Robert Boyd.² He married Grace Sophia Burdett, daughter of Arthur Hugo Florian de Burdet Burdett and Henrietta Maude St. George, on 9 January 1913.¹ He died on 12 April 1930.¹
     Maj.-Gen. Sir Gerald Farrell Boyd was decorated with the award of Companion, Distinguished Service Order (D.S.O.).¹ He was decorated with the award of Distinguished Conduct Medal (D.C.M.).¹ He was invested as a Companion, Order of St. Michael and St. George (C.M.G.).¹ He had two sons.¹ He was invested as a Knight Commander, Order of the Bath (K.C.B.).¹
