     John Butler was born circa 1780.1 He was the son of Edward Butler and Mary Walsh.2 He married Catherine Butler, daughter of William Butler and Anne Butler, in February 1808.1 He died circa February 1831.1 He was buried on 20 February 1831.1
     He lived in 1822 at Wilton, County Kilkenny, IrelandG, which he inherited from his uncle.1 He lived at Belleville, County Kilkenny, IrelandG.1
