     Lt.-Col. Louis Peile Carden was born on 10 September 1860.1 He was the son of Andrew Carden and Ann Berkeley.2,1 He married Mary Elizabeth MacCarthy-Morrogh, daughter of James MacCarthy-Morrogh, in 1891.1 He died on 19 December 1942 at age 82.1
     He fought in the First World War, where he was mentioned in despatches.1 He was invested as a Companion, Order of St. Michael and St. George (C.M.G.) in 1918.1 He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the service of the Royal Artillery.1 He lived at Cedar Grange, Caterham, Surrey, England.1

     Mary Elizabeth MacCarthy-Morrogh is the daughter of James MacCarthy-Morrogh.2 She married Lt.-Col. Louis Peile Carden, son of Andrew Carden and Ann Berkeley, in 1891.1
     She was also known as May.1 From 1891, her married name became Carden.

     Eileen Anne Carden was born on 21 June 1899.1 She is the daughter of Lt.-Col. Louis Peile Carden and Mary Elizabeth MacCarthy-Morrogh.2 She married Hartland Seymour Tupholme, son of R. Hartland Seymour Tupholme, on 18 March 1936.1 She and Hartland Seymour Tupholme were divorced in 1939.1
      From 18 March 1936, her married name became Tupholme. She lived in 1976 at 5 Elm Tree Road Mansions, London, England.1

     Lionel Berkeley Carden was born on 17 May 1863.1 He was the son of Andrew Carden and Ann Berkeley.2,1 He married, firstly, Mary Adalema Wildinson in 1889 at Wisconsin, U.S.A..1 He and Mary Adalema Wildinson were divorced in 1896.1 He married, secondly, Jennie Belle on 13 July 1898 at Utah, U.S.A..1 He married, thirdly, Anna (?) on 10 June 1911.1 He died in 1923.1
     He emigrated to U.S.A.1 He fought in the First World War, with the Canadian Army.1
