Colonel Thomas Tupper Carter-Campbell was born on 8 February 1838.1 He was the son of Admiral John Carter and Julia Adery Georges.2 He married Emily Georgiana Campbell, daughter of General George Campbell, on 15 September 1864.1 He died on 14 January 1900 at age 61.1
Colonel Thomas Tupper Carter-Campbell was baptised with the name of Thomas Tupper Carter.1 He gained the rank of Colonel in the service of the Royal Bengal Enginneers.1 On 1893 his name was legally changed to Thomas Tupper Carter-Campbell.1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.).1
