     Maria Lucy Anne Hayman was the daughter of Matthew Hayman.2 She married Colonel Francis Peter Cassidy, son of Reverend Mark Cassidy and Henrietta Jackson, on 2 June 1853.1 She died on 26 September 1906.1
     From 2 June 1853, her married name became Cassidi.

     Francis Laird Cassidi was born on 20 December 1889.1 He is the son of Francis Richard Cassidi and Marion Elizabeth Duncannon.2 He married Phyllis Mary Haviland, daughter of Reverend Arthur Coles Haviland, on 16 September 1924.1 He died on 17 September 1963 at age 73,.1
     Francis Laird Cassidi was educated at Rugby School, Rugby, Warwickshire, England.1 He graduated from Corpus Christi College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England, with a Bachelor of Medicine (M.B.).1 He was registered as a Licentiate, Royal College of Physicians, London (L.R.C.P.) in 1914.1 He gained the rank of officer in the service of the Royal Navy Volunteer Reserve.1 He graduated from Corpus Christi College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England, in 1915 with a Bachelor of Surgery (B.Ch.).1 He was decorated with the award of Royal Naval Volunteer Reserve Officers' Decoration (V.R.D.).1 He was registered as a Member, Royal College of Surgeons, Edinburgh (M.R.C.S.E.).1 He was Surgeon to HM King George VI.1 He lived at Glenbroook, County Derry, Ireland.1
