     William Chartres was born circa 1689.1 He was the son of James Chartres and Mary (?).2 He married Mary (?).1 He died in 1767.1
     He was he made considerable purchases of land in the Barony of Magherastephana.1 His last will was dated 23 September 1758.1 He lived at Curragh, County Fermanagh, Ireland.1

     Reverend Mark Chartres was born in 1761.1 He was the son of James Chartres and Jane Noble.2 He married Sophia Irwin, daughter of Thomas Irwin, in 1806.1 He died in 1834.1
     He graduated from Trinity College, Dublin University, Dublin, County Dublin, Ireland, in 1785 with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.).1 He wrote the book The Parricide.1 He wrote the book Sonnets and other Elegiac Poems.1 He was the Rector at Clone, County Kilkenny, Ireland.1 He was the Rector at Kilbride, County Roscommon, Ireland.1 He wrote the book Vinegar Hill.1 He was the Sub-Dean at Ferns, County Wexford, Ireland.1
