     Michael Joseph Chevers was born in October 1827.1 He was the son of John Chevers and Eleanor MacDonnell.2,3 He married Annie ffrench, daughter of Hon. Martin ffrench and Margaret Bodkin, on 10 July 1865.1 He died on 10 April 1889 at age 61.1
     He held the office of High Sheriff of County Galway in 1860.1 He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of County Galway.1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for County Galway.1 He lived at Killyan, County Galway, Ireland.1

     He was admitted to Lincoln's Inn entitled to practice as a Barrister-at-Law.1 His name was legally changed to Christopher MacDonnell-Chevers pursuant to his maternal uncle's will.3 He was given the name of Christopher Chevers at birth.3

     Major John Joseph Chevers was born on 28 November 1866.1 He was the son of Michael Joseph Chevers and Annie ffrench.2 He married Frederica Sophia Elizabeth Mary Lewis, daughter of Henry Owen Lewis, on 23 January 1894.1 He died on 16 January 1947 at age 80.1
     He was educated at Beaumont College, Old Windsor, Berkshire, England.1 He held the office of High Sheriff of County Galway in 1893.1 He lived at Killyan, County Galway, Ireland.1 He gained the rank of Major in the service of the Connaught Rangers.3 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for County Galway.1 He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of County Galway.1 He sold Kilyan, th the Land Commission in 1936.1 He lived at Jacobean House, Folkestone, Kent, England.1
