     Marshal Clarke was born in 1789.1 She was the daughter of Reverend Marshal Clarke and Elizabeth Hare.2 She died on 17 June 1833 at Peronne, FranceG, unmarried, on his way back to Calcutta.3
     She was commissioned in 1811.1 She was Captain in the Honourable East India Company Service, Madras European Regiment.1 She fought in the Battle of Asserghur.1 She fought in the Battle of Malligawm.1 She gained the rank of officer in the 1st Regiment, Madras Infantry, in the Mahratta and Pindaree Campaign.1 She fought in the Battle of Mahudpore.1 He wrote critical book on the campaign and Indian affairs.1 She retired from the military in 1823.1
