Marcus Louis Stewart Clements was born on 29 September 1879.1 He was the son of Henry Theophilus Clements and Gertrude Caroline Lucy Markham.2 He married Wilhelmina Diana Lenox-Conyngham, daughter of Lt.-Col. William Arbuthnot Lenox-Conyngham and Mina Ethel Lowry, on 14 April 1932.1 He died on 17 February 1952 at age 72.1
