     John Cochrane was the son of Zacheus Cochrane and Catrean Crawford.2 He married Anna Maria Kincaid, daughter of Reverend Joseph Kincaid, on 23 August 1793.1 He died on 20 August 1831.1
     He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.)1 He gained the rank of Captain in the Loyal Finn Water Corps of Yeomanry.1 He lived at Drumhallagh, County Donegal, IrelandG.1 He lived at Edenmore, County Donegal, IrelandG.1
