     Sir Thomas North Dick-Lauder of Fountainhall, 9th Bt. was born on 28 April 1846.1 He was the son of Sir John Dick-Lauder of Fountainhall, 8th Bt. and Lady Anne Dalrymple.2 He died on 19 June 1919 at age 73, unmarried.1
     Sir Thomas North Dick-Lauder of Fountainhall, 9th Bt. gained the rank of Lieutenant in the service of the 60th Rifles.1 He succeeded to the title of 9th Baronet Lauder, of Fountainhall, co. Haddington [N.S., 1690] on 23 March 1867.1
