     Maj.-Gen. Algernon Edward Cottam was invested as a Companion, Order of the Bath (C.B.).2 He lived at Bodiam Rectory, Robertsbridge, Sussex, England.2 He was invested as a Commander, Order of the British Empire (C.B.E.).2 He was decorated with the award of Military Cross (M.C.).1
