     Commander Hedworth Lambton was born on 20 March 1904.1 He was the son of Hon. Claud Lambton and Lettice Wormald.1 He married, firstly, Iris Wynnfred Violet Halpin, daughter of William Law Halpin, on 14 February 1935.1 He and Iris Wynnfred Violet Halpin were divorced in 1963.1 He married, secondly, Olivia Monckton in 1963.1 He died on 22 September 1983 at age 79, without male issue.1
     Commander Hedworth Lambton fought in the Second World War, where he was mentioned in despatches.1 He was decorated with the Distinguished Service Cross (D.S.C.).1 He gained the rank of Commander in the service of the Royal Navy.1
