     Sir John Dryden, 7th Bt. was the son of Edward Dryden and Elizabeth Allen.2 He married, firstly, Frances Ingram, daughter of Thomas Ingram, in June 1724.1 He married, secondly, Elizabeth Rooper, daughter of John Rooper, on 22 September 1726.3 He died on 21 March 1770, without issue.1
     Sir John Dryden, 7th Bt. graduated with a Doctor of Civil Law (D.C.L.).1 He succeeded to the title of 7th Baronet Dryden, of Canons Ashby, co. Northampton [E., 1619] on 3 November 1718.1 He held the office of High Sheriff of Northamptonshire in 1727.1 On his death, his baronetcy became extinct.1

     Frances Ingram was the daughter of Thomas Ingram.1 She married Sir John Dryden, 7th Bt., son of Edward Dryden and Elizabeth Allen, in June 1724.1 She died circa January 1724/25.1 She was buried on 30 January 1724/25.1
     From June 1724, her married name became Dryden.
