Catherine Madden was the daughter of Reverend Samuel Madden.2 She married Sir William Richard Crosbie, 7th Bt., son of Edward Crosbie and Jane Henry, on 11 April 1854.1 She died on 5 December 1882.1

Sir William Edward Douglas Crosbie, 8th Bt. was born, m 21 June 1893 Georgina Mary (d 24 March 1931), yst dau of Thomas Edward Milles Marsh, of 34 Grosvenor Place, Bath issue, on 13 October 1855.1 He was the son of Sir William Richard Crosbie, 7th Bt. and Catherine Madden.2 He married Rose Kathleen Moule.1 He died on 29 December 1936 at age 81, without issuem.1
