Ulick Francis Hussey de Burgh was born on 9 November 1900.1 He was the son of John Digby Townsend Hussey de Burgh and Elizabeth Mary Madara Cooper.2,1 He married Dorothy Spencer Fishe, daughter of Sydney Spencer Fishe, on 30 April 1943.1 He died on 2 March 1971 at age 70, without issue.1
     He was educated at Royal Military College, Sandhurst, Berkshire, EnglandG.1 He was with Camel Corps & East Arab Corps, Sudan Defence Force between 1929 and 1940.1 He was awarded the Order of Nile of Egypt in 1938.1 He fought in the Second World War.1 He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in 1947 in the Royal Munster Fusiliers and East Lancashire Regiment.1 He lived at Dromkeen House, County Limerick, IrelandG.1
