Field Marshal Sir John Greer Dill was born on 25 December 1881.1 He was the son of John Dill and Jane Greer.2 He married, firstly, Ada Maud Le Mottée, daughter of Colonel William Albert Le Mottée, in 1907.1 He married, secondly, Nancy Isabelle Cecil Charrington, daughter of Henry Charrington, on 8 October 1941.1 He died on 4 November 1944 at age 62.1

John de Guerin Dill was born on 28 August 1916.1 He was the son of Field Marshal Sir John Greer Dill and Ada Maud Le Mottée.2 He married Heather Avice Fenton Falkner, daughter of Harold Arthur Falkner, in 1942.1 He died on 22 July 1971 at age 54.1
