James Hardy Eustace was born in 1783.1 He was the son of Major Hardy Eustace and Susanna Bernard.2 He married Elizabeth Reed, daughter of Arthur Reed, in March 1826.1 He died on 6 February 1859.1
James Hardy Eustace gained the rank of Captain in the service of the 8th Regiment.1 He held the office of High Sheriff of County Carlow in 1835.1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for County Carlow.1 He lived at Hardymount, County Carlow, Ireland.1 He lived at Castlemore, County Carlow, Ireland.1
