     Amelia Samuel was the daughter of Samuel Moses Samuel and Esther Cohen. She married Denis Moses Samuel, Baron de Samuel, son of Moses Samuel. She married George William Hamilton FitzMaurice, 6th Earl of Orkney, son of Thomas John Hamilton FitzMaurice, 5th Earl of Orkney and Hon. Charlotte Isabella Irby, on 28 November 1872.1 She died on 11 November 1890.1
     She gained the title of Baroness de Samuel. Her married name became FitzMaurice. After her marriage, Amelia Samuel was styled as Countess of Orkney on 16 May 1877.

     He held the office of High Sheriff of Angelsey in 1866.1 He gained the rank of Captain in the 72nd Regiment.1 He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.)1 He lived at Tregof, Anglesey, WalesG.1

     Sarah Jane Roose was born circa 1840. She was the daughter of George Bradley Roose.1 She married Hon. Henry Warrender FitzMaurice, son of Thomas John Hamilton FitzMaurice, 5th Earl of Orkney and Hon. Charlotte Isabella Irby, on 5 September 1861.1 She died on 13 February 1880.1
     Her married name became FitzMaurice.

     Edmond Walter FitzMaurice, 7th Earl of Orkney was born on 24 May 1867.1 He was the son of Hon. Henry Warrender FitzMaurice and Sarah Jane Roose.1 He married Constance Macdonald Gilchrist, daughter of David Gilchrist, on 19 July 1892.1 He died on 21 August 1951 at age 84.1
     He was educated at Cheltham College, Cheltenham, Gloucestershire, EnglandG.1 He succeeded as the 7th Earl of Orkney [S., 1696] on 21 October 1889.1 He succeeded as the 7th Viscount Kirkwall [S., 1696] on 21 October 1889.1 He succeeded as the 7th Baron Dechmont [S., 1696] on 21 October 1889.1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Buckinghamshire.1 He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of Buckinghamshire.1 He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel between 1898 and 1903 in the 3rd Battalion, Oxfrodshire and Light Infantry.1 He fought in the First World War.1

     Constance Macdonald Gilchrist was the daughter of David Gilchrist.1 She married Edmond Walter FitzMaurice, 7th Earl of Orkney, son of Hon. Henry Warrender FitzMaurice and Sarah Jane Roose, on 19 July 1892.1 She died on 9 May 1946.1
     After her marriage, Constance Macdonald Gilchrist was styled as Countess of Orkney on 19 July 1892. From 19 July 1892, her married name became FitzMaurice.
