     Sir Courtenay Pole, 2nd Bt. was baptised on 17 February 1618/19. He was the son of Sir John Pole, 1st Bt. and Elizabeth How. He married Ureth Shapcote, daughter of Thomas Shapcote. He died circa April 1695. He was buried on 13 April 1695.
     Sir Courtenay Pole, 2nd Bt. gained the title of 2nd Baronet Pole, of Shute.

     Sir John Pole, 1st Bt. was born before 1598. He was the son of Sir William Pole and Maria Periam. He married Elizabeth How, daughter of Roger How, on 5 January 1613. He died on 16 April 1658.
     Sir John Pole, 1st Bt. gained the title of 1st Baronet Pole, of Shute.
