     He graduated from Trinity College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, EnglandG, with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)1 He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the Waterford Artillery.1 He lived at The Little Island, County Waterford, IrelandG.1 He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of County Waterford.1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for County Waterford.1

     From 25 January 1860, her married name became Purcell-FitzGerald.

     Gerald Purcell-FitzGerald was born on 5 May 1865.1 He was the son of Maurice Noel Ryder Purcell-FitzGerald and Anne Laurie.2 He married, firstly, Alice Louisa Kirwan, daughter of Very Rev. Anthony La Touche Kirwan, on 28 September 1892.1 He married, secondly, Lida Eleanor Nicolls, daughter of John Albert Nicolls, on 1 March 1899.1 He and Lida Eleanor Nicolls were divorced in 1907 by Act of Parliament.1 He married, thirdly, Mabel Marie Gossip, daughter of George Hatfeild Dingley Gossip and Alicia Kenny, on 31 July 1907.1 He and Mabel Marie Gossip were divorced in 1928.1 He married, fourthly, Lamorna Jessie Richards, daughter of Coombe Richards, in 1928.1 He died on 21 November 1946 at age 81.1
