Rt. Rev. William Foster was born in 1744.1 He married Catherine Letitia Leslie, daughter of Reverend Henry Leslie, on 23 November 1814.1 He died in November 1797,, with other issue.1
Rt. Rev. William Foster was yr s of Rt Honour Anthony Foster, PC, MP, Lord Ch Baron of Exchequer in Ireland, of Collon, County Louth, and brother of 1st Baron Oriel, PC, last Speaker of Irish House of Commons.1 He was educated Trin College Dublin.1 He was Doctor of Divinity (D.D.).1 Between 1780 and 1789 Chap House of Commons.1 On 14 June 1789 consecrated Bishop of Cork and Ross.1 In 1790 translated to Kilmore.1 In 1796 and to Clogher.1
