     Wilfred Vere Fitzmaurice was educated at Christ's Hospital, London, England.1 He fought in the Second World War, where he was invalided.1 He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Commander in the service of the Royal Navy Reserve.1 He was decorated with the award of Distinguished Service Cross (D.S.C.).1 He was partner of Davies-FitzMaurice Associates, technical and marketing consultants.1
