     Henry Frend was born, m 3 June 1884 Mary Annie Johnstone, only chdd of Andrew MacVair Urquhart, and granddau of John Urquhart, of Fair Hill, Lanarks, on 17 February 1853.1 He was the son of William Causabon Frend and Harriott Georgiana Garvey.2 He was born on 31 January 1855.1 He died, without issue of Frederick Roberts.1 He died on 25 May 1857 at age 4.1

     Jane Frend was the daughter of William Causabon Frend and Harriott Georgiana Garvey.2 She married Frederick Coore Mein on 22 November 1877.1 She died on 28 March 1884.1
     From 22 November 1877, her married name became Mein.1
