     He lived at Bellefield, County Limerick, Ireland.1

     Daniel FitzGerald Gabbett was born on 7 November 1841.1 He was the son of Daniel Gabbett and Susannah FitzGerald.2 He married Augusta Janey Thornton, daughter of E. Butler Thornton, in 1894.1 He died on 4 August 1898 at age 56, without issue.1
     He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the service of the 2nd Life Guards and 10th Hussars.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) between 1879 and 1885.1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for County Limerick.1 He lived at Cahirconlish House, County Limerick, Ireland.1
