     Lt.-Gen. William Murray married Mary Murray, daughter of General Lord John Murray and Mary Dalton, on 7 February 1782 at Sheffield, Yorkshire, West Riding, England.1 He and Mary Murray were separated.1 He died on 29 August 1818.1 He was buried at Staveley Hall, Derbyshire, England.1
     Lt.-Gen. William Murray lived at Staveley Hall, Derbyshire, England.1 He was baptised with the name of William Foxlowe.1 On 30 April 1782 his name was legally changed to William Murray by Royal Licence.1
