Anne Dorothea Foster was born circa 1774.1 She was the daughter of John Foster, 1st Baron Oriel of Ferrard and Margarita Amelia Burgh, Viscountess Ferrard.2 She married James Stevenson Blackwood, 2nd Baron Dufferin and Clandeboye, son of Sir John Blackwood, 2nd Bt. and Dorcas Stevenson, Baroness Dufferin and Clandeboye, on 15 November 1801.1 She died on 28 March 1865.1
From 15 November 1801, her married name became Blackwood. As a result of her marriage, Hon. Anne Dorothea Foster was styled as Baroness Dufferin and Clandeboye on 8 February 1807.
