     Alfred Stratford Dugdale was born on 8 November 1882.1 He was the son of Commander Edward Stratford Dugdale and Alice Florence Richards.2 He married, firstly, Eileen Browning, daughter of H. Gonne Browning, in 1916.1 He married, secondly, Phoebe Marianne Brodie, daughter of John Sharp Callender Brodie, on 25 August 1925.1 He died on 22 April 1974 at age 91.1
     Alfred Stratford Dugdale was educated at Westminster College, London, England.1 He was educated at Merton College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England.1
