     Sir Jean Ivor Dunbar of Mochrum, 13th Bt. was born on 4 April 1918.1 He was the son of Sir Adrian Ivor Dunbar of Mochrum, 12th Bt. and Emma Marie Wittevrongel.2 He married, firstly, Rose Jeanne Hertsch, daughter of Henry William Hertsch, in 1944.1 He married, secondly, Vivianna Patricia Arrow Bloomfield, daughter of Ernest Bloomfield, in 1987.3 He and Rose Jeanne Hertsch were divorced in 1988.1 He and Vivianna Patricia Arrow Bloomfield were divorced in 1988.1 He died in 1993.1
     Sir Jean Ivor Dunbar of Mochrum, 13th Bt. gained the rank of Sergeant in the service of the Mountain Engineers, U.S. Army.1 He succeeded to the title of 13th Baronet Dunbar, of Mochrum, co. Wigtown [N.S., 1694] on 14 June 1977.1
