Waldo Trench Fox was born on 11 May 1892.1 He was the son of Frederick Herbert Trench and Lilian Isabel Fox.1 He married Janet Mary Kennedy Bassett, daughter of MacIvor Bassett, on 1 June 1933.1 He died on 11 March 1954 at age 61.1
Waldo Trench Fox was baptised with the name of Wallace Talbot Trench.1 He gained the rank of Major in the service of the Canadian Militia.1 He fought in the First World War.1 He was decorated with the Military Cross (M.C.).1 He was decorated with the Croix de Guerre.1 He was in the Nigerian Civil Service.1 On 19 July 1934 his name was legally changed to Waldo Trench Fox by Deed Poll.1 He held the office of County Councillor for Cornwall.1

Janet Mary Kennedy Bassett was the daughter of MacIvor Bassett.1 She married Waldo Trench Fox, son of Frederick Herbert Trench and Lilian Isabel Fox, on 1 June 1933.1 She died in 1987.1
