     Gertrude Sarah Addison was the daughter of James Addison.1 She married, firstly, Thomas Farmer Bailey before 1878.1 She married Lt.-Col. Thomas Paulinus Lawson, son of Sir William Lawson, 1st Bt. and Clarinda Catherine Lawson, on 16 May 1878.1 She died on 17 September 1890.1
     From before 1878, her married name became Bailey.1 From 16 May 1878, her married name became Lawson.1
