     Hugh Diarmid James Coffey was born on 24 December 1888.4 He was the son of George Coffey and Jane Sophia Frances L'Estrange.2,3 He married, firstly, Frances Georgiana Chenevix Trench, daughter of Reverend Herbert Francis Chenevix Trench and Isabella Catherine Trench, on 17 April 1918.2 He married, secondly, Sheela Wilbraham FitzJohn Trench, daughter of Wilbraham FitzJohn Trench and Mary Alicia Cross, on 15 August 1929.1 He died on 7 July 1964 at age 75.1
