     Lea Priestley was the daughter of Joseph Priestley and Lydia Lea.^2,1 She married Henry Lees Edwards, son of John Edwards and Elizabeth Lees, on 10 May 1804.¹ She died on 6 September 1853.¹
      From 10 May 1804, her married name became Edwards.

     John Lea Edwards was born on 11 February 1805.¹ He was the son of Henry Lees Edwards and Lea Priestley.² He married Anne Elizabeth Waterhouse, daughter of John Waterhouse, on 17 October 1833.¹ He died on 27 December 1835 at age 30.¹
     He lived at Darcey Hey, Halifax, Yorkshire, England.¹
