     John Graham Esplen was born on 4 August 1932.¹ He was the son of Sir William Graham Esplen, 2nd Bt. and Aline Octavia Hedley.² He married Valerie Joan Lambooy, daughter of Maj.-Gen. Albert Percy Lambooy, on 6 October 1956.¹ He and Valerie Joan Lambooy were divorced in 1993.¹ He died on 26 March 2016 at age 83.³

     Valerie Joan Lambooy is the daughter of Maj.-Gen. Albert Percy Lambooy.² She married John Graham Esplen, son of Sir William Graham Esplen, 2nd Bt. and Aline Octavia Hedley, on 6 October 1956.¹ She and John Graham Esplen were divorced in 1993.¹
     From 6 October 1956, her married name became Esplen.

     Sir William John Harry Esplen, 4th Bt. was born on 24 February 1967.¹ He is the son of John Graham Esplen and Valerie Joan Lambooy.² He married Helen Chesser in 1996.¹
